Emine CEYLAN | Time Travel (Issue 52)

Emine Ceylan was born in Istanbul in 1955. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of dentistry and worked at her own clinic for 19 years, and, in 1998, she left this job and devoted herself to photography.

She has been working in the field of photography since 1985. She opened 15 personal exhibitions and took part in many mixed exhibitions. Three photo books and a story book entitled “Winter Journey” have been published. She produces up-to-date photos. In the time travel series, she used her daughter as a model to portray well-known paintings of art history. She has also been interested in painting since 2010.

She is currently living and working in Istanbul.
